On Saturday 8th November 2025 we hosted our regular Autumn shoot at High Lodge Shooting ground, this sporting layout being a popular choice for many. 

A typical English breakfast started the day on the right footing with 52 eager shooters getting to know each other and gauge the competition in the dining hall. 

A welcome and introduction was warmly  conducted by our Chairman Roger Nash (Deputy Provincial Grand Master) before heading out to the shooting ground. High Lodge had put together some fantastic targets and combinations to challenge everyone, even the experienced shooters got caught out along the way. The average score for the day was 63/100, competitors being evenly split in either half.

Congratulations to 1st place Chris Lynch (87/100) and joint 2nd’s to Ollie Lewis, Phil Ramsey and Troy Hollis (83/100). Ladies top shots were Lisa Brereton (78/100) and Nicola Hardman (64/100).

Overall, another fantastic day at High Lodge shooting ground which allowed us to raise £600 for charity. Thanks to all those that supported us, we couldn’t do it without you.
