On behalf of SMaCSS I would like to thank everyone who supported us on Saturday 18th January 2025 at Eriswell Shooting Ground.

It’s fair to say that trying to put a shoot on this time of year was always going to be tough on numbers since the game and ski season are at a busy time. Despite that, we managed to attract 20 keen shooters to our game themed event and a great time was had by all. Many, I may add, got their game clothing out of the cupboard in order get into the spirit.

The shooting was tailored in two halves, the first 75 birds on the regular sporting layout and we finished with a five man team flush. What a brilliant finale. We have to add our thanks to Eriswell Shooting Ground for tailoring the game flush to our requirement. Well done Stuart and team.

After three hours of shooting the scores were collated and announced. High gun for the day was Steve Ball (Kent) with an excellent score of  68/75. Closely followed by Phil Goddard (Bucks) with 61/75 and Shane Brereton (Suffolk) with 60/75.

We concluded the day with a raffle and the results of our efforts totalled £320 for Charity.
