On Saturday 18th July 2026 we hosted our regular Summer shoot at Eriswell Lodge Shooting ground. 

The obligatory bacon roll and hot brew started the day on the right footing with 27 eager shooters ready to face the warm morning and put some lead in the air. 

A welcome and introduction was warmly  conducted by our Chairman Roger Nash (Deputy Provincial Grand Master) before heading out to the shooting ground. Eriswell Lodge had put together some fantastic targets and combinations to challenge everyone, even the experienced shooters got caught out along the way. A multi button used to launch 10 driven clays caused a few to drop the odd  target. 

The average score for the day was 63/100, with many shooters being above that average.

Congratulations to 1st place Dale Parker (83/100) and joint 2nd’s to Phil Goddard, Chris Lynch and Phil Ramsey (79/100). Ladies top shot was once again Lisa Brereton (74/100).

Overall, another fantastic day at Eriswell Lodge shooting ground which allowed us to raise £565 for charity. Thanks to all those that supported us, we couldn’t do it without you.
